Event-Reihe für akustische und elektronische Tasteninstrumente im Bezug zu Improvisierter Musik. Zum ersten Mal in laden die beiden Musiker Gregor Frobes und Vincent Meissner in diesem Jahr zwei Gäste zu einem spannenden Abend der musikalischen Erstbegegnung ein. Mit Fokus auf Improvisation, der Entwicklung von Ideen und dem Treffen von Entscheidungen im Moment werden die Klänge von vier Tasteninstrumente in einem Konzert in wechselnden Besetzungen zu hören sein. Für die erste Ausgabe eingeladen wurden der in Leipzig lebende, iranische Komponist/Pianist und Improvisator Hessam Sadeghi und der in Amsterdam lebende, aus Madrid stammende, Jazzpianist Adrian Moncada. Zusammen mit den Gastgebern laben sie alle recht herzlich in die Galerie KUB am Samstag den 04.11. um 20:00 ein. Über Mohammad Hessam Sadeghi Mohammad Hessam Sadeghi wurde 1992 in Teheran geboren. Zuerst absolvierte er Kompositionsstudium an der Kunst Universität Teherans und anschließend nahm Musiktheorie und Komposition Studium in Osnabrück mit Prof. Irmgard Brockmann und Ali Gorji und gleichzeitig Orgelunterricht bei Casten Zündorf auf. Momentan studiert er Improvisation mit Tilo Augsten an der HMT Leipzig im Master. Musiktheorie und Komposition Meisterkurse u.a. bei Sara Nemstov, Ansgar Beste, Farzia Fallah, Fabien Lévy, Oliver Korte, Jan Philipp Sprick. Über Adrián Moncada Adrián Moncada ist ein spanischer Pianist und Komponist aus Madrid. Er begann sein Studium 2014 in den Niederlanden und schloss es Studium im Jazz-Performance-Programm an der CvA 2020 mit Cum Laude ab. Während seiner Zeit in NL erhielt er Unterricht und Meisterkurse von Musikern wie Brad Mehldau, Gerald Clayton, Harmen Fraanje, Rob van Bavel, Karel Boehlee und Franz von Chossy. Er nahm an verschiedenen renommierten Wettbewerben teil, wie zum Beispiel der: “Keep an Eye Competition”, der “DutchJazz Competition und dem “Leiden Jazz Award”. Er trat in zahlreichen bedeutenden Venues und Jazz-Festivals in Europa auf u.A. : Bimhuis (Amsterdam), Lantarenvenstern (Rotterdam), North Sea Jazz (Rotterdam), Hot Club Portugal (Portugal) und Jamboree Jazz (Spanien). Seine Hauptprojekte sind sein Adrián Moncada 6tet, mit dem er im März 2021 sein Debütalbum veröffentlichte. “Garden Crack” ist ein Klaviertrio, mit dem er 2023 ein zweites Album mit Michael Moore als Gast herausbrachte. Sein Projekt “Rebolada” , ein Duo mit Sängerin Irene Sorozábal, erforscht die Wurzeln der spanischen Folklore durch ein zeitgenössisches Prisma. Neben seinen eigenen Projekten ist er ein gefragter Pianist als Sideman in einigen der aufstrebenden jungen Bands in den Niederlanden, wie Liquid Identities, Chai Masters, Marta Arpini Pocket Orchestra, Siebren Sminks „Areia“, Irene Sorozábal KURKUMA und Noneto Desconcertante vertreten. Scrambled Octopus VOL. 1 An improvised music series for keyboard instruments For the first time in this year, the two musicians Gregor Frobes and Vincent Meissner invite two guests for an exciting evening of musical first encounter. Focusing on improvisation, the development of ideas and the making of decisions at the moment, you will hear the sound of four pianos in a concert with changing instrumentations. Together with the hosts, they all invite you to join at Galerie KUB on Saturday 04. 11. 8:00 p. m. About Mohammad Hessam Sadeghi Mohammad Hessam Sadeghi was born in Tehran in 1992. First he completed composition studies at the Art University of Tehran and then took up music theory and composition studies in Osnabrück with Prof. Irmgard Brockmann and Ali Gorji and at the same time organ lessons with Casten Zündorf. He is currently studying improvisation with Tilo Augsten at the HMT Leipzig for a master's degree. Music theory and composition master classes with Sara Nemstov, Ansgar Beste, Farzia Fallah, Fabien Lévy, Oliver Korte, Jan Philipp Sprick, among others. About Adrián Moncada Adrián Moncada is an Amsterdam based pianist and composer originally from Madrid, Spain. He started this studies in the Netherlands in 2014, and graduated Cum Laude from the jazz performance program at CvA in 2020. During his time in NL he received lessons and masterclasses from musicians like Brad Mehldau, Gerald Clayton, Harmen Fraanje, Rob van Bavel, Karel Boehlee and Franz von Chossy. He has participated in various prestigious competitions such as: Keep an Eye Competition, Dutch Jazz Competition, and Leiden Jazz Award and played in some of the most important venues in Europe: Bimhuis (Amsterdam), Lantarenvenstern (Rotterdam), North Sea jazz (Rotterdam), Hot club Portugal (Portugal) and Jamboree Jazz (Spain). His main projects are: Adrián Moncada 6tet, with which he has released his debut album in March 2021. Garden Crack is a piano trio with whom he released their 2nd album with Michael Moore as a guest in 2023; Rebolada, a duo with singer Irene Sorozábal in with they explore the roots of Spanish folklore through a contemporary prism.
